Tow Truck Driver Wanted

Well, Big Paul is looking to hang up half the old operation. He says he’s getting too old to lift Fords out of ditches when the winch won’t do. “Hell, I can barely throw a Prius” he joked. Since his kid won’t likely be coming around to taking up the family business, Paul is looking for someone with towing experience to either work under him, or to buy the towing half of the house.

Must have good references.

Auto repair and locksmithing experience a plus.

Being from around these parts is a bigger plus.

Not being on his “Wall of Shame” for skipped checks is a requirement.

Now, you all know Paul is a reasonable guy, so I think any of you would be able to speak well of his Southside Auto operation if you have any far-and-away family looking for an excuse to come home. Just keep in mind that he’s in no hurry to find the right candidate. It’s just that he would like to find out if there are ANY candidates.

Driving a towtruck around here, especially in the early spring, can be a trip. Between the mudslides, storms, downed trees, and… “herbal adventurers”, you pretty much have to be ready for anything. “Bonus points if you can describe a time you plucked a ’87 Silverado out of the trees, thirty feet up, without scratching the paint,” he laughed.

Honestly had almost forgotten about that one.

Yup, Big Paul wears some big shoes around here. Hopefully he can find someone to fill them.
